Jack R. Walker, 68, Colonel USAF retired and local rancher went to be with his Lord, Friday December 9, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday Dec. 15, 2011 at the Grace Lutheran church with Pastor Toby Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery at Fulbright under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. He will be available for viewing at the funeral home Wednesday evening.

He was born August 24, 1943 in Reno, Nevada a son of Robert B. and Lois A. Bradley Walker. He earned a nursing degree from St. Louis University and a master’s degree. He enlisted in and served 26 years in the Air Force with assignments in Germany, Philippines and Vietnam. Jack was a good man and loved his horses, cattle and made friends easily in our local community.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lois Walker.

He is survived by his twin sister Jill Walker of Paris; brother Bob Walker of Sacramento, California; sister Sara Wren of Westminster, Colorado; nephews Rob Walker of CA, Alex and Nick Wren of Colorado and niece Jayna Richmond of CA.

All who knew Jack will miss his kindness, smiles and his home baked cakes. Smile, because Jack is.
