Robert Ray Stewart born 11/30/1938 in Chandler Arizona peacefully passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on Feb 6th 2012 after a brave battle with his health. Visitation will be Wednesday February 8th from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at the Fry Gibbs Funeral Home. Scheduled services will be at Pathway International Church of God at 10:00am Thursday February 9th with the Reverend Ray Evers and Reverend Daniel Hines officiating. Burial will follow with Military Honors at Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend Robert Stewart was a well loved and respected Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great- Grandfather and Minister.

Reverend Stewart founded Teen Challenge of Arizona in 1965 as a youth drug rehabilitation home for wayward teens and drug addicts. The ministry is still in operation today with over 10,000 lives certified clean of drugs and many ministers rising from the program to establish churches across the nation.

Reverend Stewart founded the Northeast Texas Dream Center and Caring Food Partners as a non-profit outreach dedicated to helping all people from all walks of life.

He is survived by his wife Linda Stewart of Paris Texas, son Terry and wife Penny, daughter Deborah Kovach and husband Tracy,  step-son Michael Vargas, sister Sharon Smith and husband Terry all residing in Arizona, Sister Ruth Rupp and husband Ron, brother Rev. Duane Stewart and wife Almeda, brother Rev Dwight Stewart and wife Carleen all of Paris Texas. Robert Stewart is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grand children

Reverend Robert Stewart was preceded in death by his father E.A. Stewart, and mother Dona Stewart and his nephew Robert Brian Ellison.
