Mack Metts, 69 of Powderly, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Dubuis Hospital.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. 

He was born on August 19, 1942 in Coleman, Texas to Malcolm and Ruby Metts.  He married Linda Kay Perkins on February 14, 1970 in Emberson, Texas.  Mack worked in Real Estate and was a member of First Baptist Church of Slaton, Texas.

He is survived by his wife Linda Kay Metts; children, Barron Cole Metts and wife Cheryl, Adam McKinley Metts and wife Melanie, Waylan Wesley Metts and wife Leah; grandchildren, McKayla, James, Madalyn and Ryan Metts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Ruby Metts; sister, Beva Watson.
