Kenneth Wayne Haley, 53, of Sumner passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 in Choctaw Memorial Hospital in Hugo.

He was born on October 4, 1958 in Pasadena, Tx a son of Billy Wayne and Mary Whitt Haley. He graduated from Prairiland High School in 1977 where he was a star football player then served in the U.S. Marine Corp.. He retired after 23 years as a glazier (glass construction) and began second career as a truck driver. In retirement he worked as a farmer and was a loving “Papa.”

Surviving are his mother Mary Haley of Sumner; children Amber Williams of Perris, Calif., Katie Harrison of Whittier, Calif., Daniel Sargeant of Austin; grandchildren Nevaeh Thompson, Kaley Mason, and Dominique Harrison; brother and sisters David Haley of Crofton, Maryland, Karen Haley-Dungan of Temple, TX and Jan Fields of Wagoner, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, spouse Carolyn Haley and a brother Dale Ray (Busty) Haley.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. Family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Salvation Army 350 W. Kaufman St. Paris, Texas 75460.
