Mrs. Imogene L. Claypool, 82, of Paris passed away October 28, 2008 in Paris Health Care. She was born on November 25, 1925 in Lamar County a daughter of Johnnie Jewel and Maudie Melton Smith Mrs. Claypool was a homemaker and a member of Faith Pentecostal Church in Powderly. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward L. Claypool, her parents, brothers; Aubrey Smith, Larry Smith; sisters Pauline Gordon, Billie Flowers. Survivors include son Monty L. Claypool and wife Jewel; grandchildren Justin Claypool, Jennifer Fulbright, Amy Duncan, Ashley Burns. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday in the Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. George Flowers officiating. Family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
