KELLY WAYNE FLOYD 80, of Gun Barrel City, Texas, died Friday, April 2, 2010 at East Texas Medical Center in Athens, Texas. Funeral services are set for 12:00 noon, Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Hutchison officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time prior to the service. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. Kelly was born on January 5, 1930 to Earl Kelly and Lillian Floyd. He was the last child of 10 siblings that were born and raised in the local area. Mr. Floyd worked in construction, automobile sales and home sales prior to his retirement. Mr. Floyd is survived by his wife, Dorothy Floyd of Gun Barrel City, Texas; three children, Kenneth and Lanesa Floyd of Durant, Oklahoma, Becky and Gary Stephenson of Killeen, Texas, and Margaret and Dickie Foster of Krum, Texas; ten grandchildren, Christy, Lisa, Julie, Joel, Britni, Derek, Rachel, Rodney, Dickie Lee and Randy; twelve great-grandchildren and extended family members and his beloved dog, Timmy. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-grandson, Brayden Lane Foster.
