Dr. Kelsey Gibbs and Family, Owners

Kelsey Gibbs, son of the late Marvin Gibbs, serves as our chief operating officer, in addition to his medical practice. Members of the Gibbs family are (L to R): Kelsey, David, Kathy, Mark, and Virginia.

jackiemcqueen Jackie McQueen

Jackie joined our firm in 1986. He is a graduate of the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science, attended Paris Junior College and East Texas State University. Jackie was former managing director for Tapp Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, Texas for twelve years. Currently Jackie serves our firm as Managing Director and Vice-President. He is a member of the First Assembly of God in Paris, where he serves as secretary, and a teacher in the Royal Rangers youth department. Jackie brings many years of funeral service experience to our firm.

markwelch Mark Welch

Mark joined our firm in 1991. He graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 1993 with an associates degree, as salutatorian of his class. He is also a 1976 cum Laude graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University with a Bachelors Degree in Church Music with emphasis in voice. He was awarded the Faculty Voice Award in 1976, and named Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. Mark is a member of the Pi Sigma Eta Fraternity, the Bison Glee Club, Shawnee Choral Society, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity. He is a member of the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ in Paris and has served on the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce Retail Business Advisory Board.

arviestevens Arvie Stevens

Arvie joined our firm in 1995. He is a licensed funeral director/embalmer in the state of Texas, having received his certificate from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 1994. He is a former justice of the peace here in Lamar county Texas having served from 1990 until 1994.

paulbean Paul Bean

Paul joined our firm in 1998, having graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service with an Associate Degree. Paul owned and managed the Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery here in Lamar County, Texas from 1986 until 1996. Prior to the Meadowbrook Cemetery ownership, Paul managed cemeteries in Oregon and Arizona. Paul brings many years experience in the funeral service industry to our firm.

dustinmay Dustin May

Dustin joined our firm in June 2004. Following his internship with Fry-Gibbs, he received his Texas funeral director/embalmer license in 2005. He is a May 2004 graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service with an Associates Degree. Dustin is a member of the Pathway Church of God.

ronnienutt Ronnie Nutt

Ronnie joined our firm in 2003, after retiring as Regional Director from the Texas Department of Health and Human Services with 32 years of service. He is a graduate of Paris High School, attended Paris Junior College, and graduated from East Texas State University with a BS in Business and Sociology. He has received national and statewide recognition for his excellent customer service and timeliness. He was named an Outstanding Young Man of America in 1972 and 1973, Crusade Chairman for the American Cancer Society in 1976, elected President of Texas Public Employees Association Chapter No. 14 in 1978, and elected to the State Board of Texas Public Employees Association in 1978, received a Distinguished Service Award form the Texas Public Employees Association as 3rd Vice President for 1982-1983, and as 2nd Vice President for 1983-1985. Ronnie served as Vice Chairman of the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dieticians during 1983-1984. He was nominated for Who's Who in the South and Southwest in 1987 and 1988, received the Governor's Volunteer Leadership Award in 1995, and was named the Texas Long Term Care Outstanding Professional in 1996.

Active in the Paris community, he is currently Board Chairman of First Christian Church, chairman of the City of Reno Street Commission, past Executive Secretary of the Lamar Democratic Party, Past President of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Lamar County, Past Board member of the American Cancer Society, Past Vice Chairman of Paris Traffic Safety Commission, Past Chairman of Paris Planning and Zoning Commission and Past Executive Producer of Denver Pyle's "Uncle Jesse's Big Mouth Charity Fishing Tournament, and the Doug Kershaw Celebrity Golf Tournament. Ronnie also served as a charter member of the Paris Education Foundation Board, President of North Lamar Independent School District Athletic Booster Club, and President, Red River Fair Association, and State Board Member of Texas Association of Fairs and Expositions.
